About Next Rep
At Next Rep, we believe used gear carries history. A scuffed helmet, a worn-in glove, a stick that's seen a hundred games isn't a downgrade. It's character. Next Rep was built on the idea that passing gear along should feel as good as buying it new.
What is Next Rep?
Next Rep is a secondhand sports gear marketplace built specifically for teams, non-profits, and the sports communities around them. We make it simple to sell gear you've outgrown, raise money for your program, and get quality equipment into the hands of players who want it at reasonable prices.
How does Next Rep work?
Teams, non-profits, and families list gear they no longer need. They can post their gear to their team page to make it easier to buy and sell within their league. As part of the selling process, you can distribute a portion or all of your transaction to a local sports program. Buyers get access to quality, affordable equipment in a marketplace that actually understands sport.
Why Next Rep?
Built for sport, not just selling: Every filter, every feature, and every decision was built with sports communities in mind, not general commerce. Search by sport, team, size, or giveback option. Find exactly what you need, fast. Your team earns, your community wins: When teams and non-profits sell on Next Rep, they keep the revenue. Simple by design: We know you're busy coaching, organising, and showing up. Next Rep is intuitive, mobile-friendly, and designed to make listing and finding gear as easy as possible, so you spend less time on admin and more time on the game.
Meet the Team
Shelby Iapoce
Shelby Iapoce has been an athlete, a coach, a sustainability professional, and the person who definitely had too much gear in her garage (because is there such a thing as too many lacrosse sticks?) (Yes, there is). She founded Next Rep because sport should be accessible to everyone and because 88% of gear ending up in landfill is no good. Based in the Greater Seattle area, she's building the marketplace she always wished existed.
